I grew up riding horses (and still do) but I fell in love with cattle at school. There is just something so hardy about them. It feels like they are the epitome of the western spirit.
And I have always had a soft spot for small ruminates, such as sheep, goats, llama and alpaca.
I graduated vet school in May of 2020 as a dual-degree holder. Yep, even though I had a lot more wrinkles than my classmates, I finished vet school which has always been a life-long dream!
My family and I have lived in Franktown since 2006 and I love serving my community and surrounding towns. My family consists of one husband (I don’t recommend any more than that), a son, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 chinchilla, 2 rats, 3 fish, a goat, 6 chickens, 2 Missouri Fox Trotters and 1 retired ranch horse.

Practice Manager / Veterinary Technician
My journey in veterinary medicine began right out of college on the East Coast, where I dove headfirst into the world of canine reproduction (yep, my job was making puppies!). After several rewarding years, I expanded into emergency medicine and trauma, spending many memorable years at a busy 24-hour, 21-doctor mixed animal hospital where no two days were ever the same.
Over a decade ago, my husband’s career brought us out to Colorado. And I’m so grateful that path eventually led me here! Being part of the CRV team and working alongside Dr. Heather is something I genuinely treasure — I’m convinced we have the very best clients and patients around!
When I’m not at work, you’ll find me running my own ranch — beef cattle and a goat dairy, because apparently I enjoy chaos — chasing after my daughter, who is my whole heart, and keeping my husband’s cardiologist in business. My other great passion is livestock guardian dogs. I’ve spent much of my life raising and training them, and helping thousands of farmers, ranchers, and homesteaders set their dogs up for success.

I grew up with a deep love for animals my whole life- and since I was a little girl, I knew animals would be what my life was about.
From; riding horses from a young age, working in a wildlife rehab center, being an assistant for an equine veterinarian, to training horses and mules with a primary focus on cattle work. And of course- starting my nonprofit that is dedicated to taking care of equines (mainly mules!)
I really lucked out by landing myself a job working with Dr. Davis at Colorado Ranch Vet. Not only do I truly love the team and the culture at CRV- but I also found a passion of delving more into livestock care (especially my favorite- cattle!)
I cannot believe how lucky I am to be mentored by this team of strong, smart, and truly dedicated humans who are making the world a better place with what they do. I have a lot to live up to- and sure am loving this journey of learning more about animal stewardship while getting to connect with and help this community.
